A Bible that is falling apart is usually owned by someone who isn’t.—Charles Spurgeon
Hi, I’m Phyllis.
I love Jesus, and I love to proclaim God’s goodness and faithfulness in all things. I write devotions and inspirational articles. You may have seen some of my pieces in various publications, such as Decision Magazine, Focus on the Family, or Christianity Today Bible Studies. I have also written for several anthologies including, Cup of Comfort for Moms, and God Allows U-Turns. While living in the Kansas City area, I served on the Advisory Board of Heart of America Christian Writers Network. Currently, I am a member of Word Weavers International.
I married my best friend a few decades ago.
We are still married, and he is still my best friend. Our two children have left our nest to establish their own, and have expanded our family to include a wonderful son-in-law, a precious daughter-in-law, and eight grandchildren.
When I am not writing or leading a Bible study I enjoy reading, sailing, hiking in the mountains or visiting the beach. My husband and I now live in the foothills of Western North Carolina, where we share a home with our dog, Maggie, who needs constant re-assurances of how special she is.
